EPHI and IFPRI jointly conducted a NIPN Capacity Needs Assessment (NIPN CNA) to identify capacity needs and recommend strategies to strengthen capacities for nutrition monitoring, evaluation, policy research, data and knowledge sharing.
The main objective of this NIPN CNA was to support the identification of capacity needs and the development of a roadmap intended to strengthen national capacities for nutrition monitoring, evaluation, policy research, data and knowledge sharing, and to implement a sustainable national information platform for nutrition.
The report presents the results of a capacity needs assessment conducted in the nutrition policy system and proposes a set of recommendations to strengthen national capacity for nutrition monitoring, evaluation and policy research. While the National Information Platform for Nutrition (NIPN) is the entry point for this assessment, national capacity needs and gaps related to monitoring, evaluation, policy research and knowledge management for nutrition have been considered more broadly.here
